My hols work is finished.😃😁

This term's story that got read to us is called hols. It is about  boy that goes to a camp were they have to dig a hole every day. we have some questions and words we have to find the meaning of. Here my slides that I have done. I hope you like it.

Winter Fun Day.😃😁😃😁

On the 20th of September Yaldhurst had there winter fun day. The year 1s 2s and 3s went ice skating. and the year 4s and up went skiing. It took about 2 hours to get to Mount Hut.

When we got there we had some morning tea, Then we got our boots, skis or snowboards and we were aloud to go on the magic carpet for an hour and then we had our lessons witch went for about an hour then we were aloud to go on the chair lift if we wanted to. Me and some other people went on it with Mr Mathews who used to teach at yaldhurst.

On the going down the chair lift mountain I nearly did a backflip because I accidently flew up the side of the mountain and landed on my face. It didn't really hurt apart from getting snow down my top.  But it was mainly fun.

We got back to school at about 5:30 to 6:00.

Home Learning.

This week for home learning I have decided to do the activity called 'Movie Time." We had to make a movie poster about our family. I chose to use canva to make it. we had to say what people would act in it. I would want Chris Hemsworth to act me. here is a photo of him.

My Tuesday Long Write.😆😁😃

On Tuesday we did a ling write. The first thing we did was plan it on Monday. We watched a video called  3 degrees 5 Minutes. Here is a link to it.  There were a few options we could choose from to write. I chose to rewrite the ending. After that, on Tuesday we wrote it. Here is my story. I hope you like it. (I didn't get to finish it to if it doesn't make much sense now you know why.)

“I can’t see anything, the snow is too thick!” 

“Keep looking. We must find him. That man was like a father to me, I can’t give up on him so easily!” 

“Caption, the snow is too thick and we are running out of food. We Need to no now!”

“No!! We have to find him!” The men tried to drag me back to the ship but I was putting up a hard fight. “Caption. we don't want to have to leave your here to die! But I am the other men are going to get back to the ship before we freeze to death!”

“Fine! Go leave me here, I will find him!” at that the other men left and I kept going to find the professor. That man was like a father to me. He was the closest thing I had to a family. I can’t leave without knowing what happened to him. I keep moving forward and trying to find him. But the snow was too thick, I couldn't see a thing. Eventually I collapsed because I was so hungry and thirsty. I was lying down and I thought I was going to die. I was as cold as a plan it to far away from the sun. and I was as thirsty as a person stranded in the hot, blood boiling mouth renchning, stomach aching dezert. And I was so hungry I could eat a horse. Then I heard a voice in the distins. “Helo!” I yeled. “Is any one their?!” then out of the snow I saw him. Professor Bloodfist. “Professor Bloudfist. Is that really you?”

“Yes my boy, it is me.”

“Your haven't aged at all. You're still as young as your were before.”

“That is all thanks to the north pole and these boots. And 23 degrees, 5 minutes.”

So it’s true. Your can live forever.”

“Yes my boy it is very true indeed. Come. I’ll show you my lab.” then he lead me to his lab. And the first thing I saw there was the plane to make the boots. “Those are the plans to make the boots that keep your on 23 degrees 5 minutes.” 

“Wow”

This week for home learning I have decided to teach someone a way of maths we have been taught this year. I chose to teach my sister. We had to film me teaching here.  Today we had to publish our traditional tail. First we had to plan it. Then we wrote it. And today we are publishing it and putting it on out blogs if we want to. My fairy tail long write.😃

In writing we wrote our own fairy tail. We could copy one that already exists to we come go the the writing prompt and chose one from there. there were lots of them and I chose to do one from the writing prompts.  I chose one that is about a little boy who is playing in the garden and he sees a door that was never there before. The first thing we did was plan it. Then of friday we wrote it. But I wasn't there of Friday so I wrote it on Monday. Warning. Warning. It does not end that happily. Here is the story. Hope you like it.

Once upon a time there was a little boy that lived on a farm. The world play outside every day with the animals. The world be skipping along saying hello to all the animals.“Helo sheep, good morning cow, how are your chicken,” he was as happy as the early bird that gets the worm. But one day he went to go play in the yard and he saw a mysterious door. Carefully went up to it and knocked on it, when there was no answer he opened it as slow as a snail moving. When it was open enough to see through it he saw that it lead to another world, a better world. One made of… candy.

Everything was made out of candy. Their tree trunks were made of liquorice and the leaves were mint leaves, the bushes were made out of gummy bears and had lollipops on them. The dirt was cocoa powder,  the grass was mint and the streams and waterfalls were melted chocolate. He started to eat, and eat, and eat, he ate the trees, he ate the grass, he ate the tree leaves, and he drank the chocolate. When he was down he was a big as one of the bushes. He tried to go back through the door but he wouldn't fit. He tried to squeeze his way out but he was just go big.

“Oh no,” he said, “I’m not going to be able to get back out, what should I do? I know, I will starve myself so I get skinny again and then I will be able to get back out. He sat down and went to sleep. When he woke up he was a little skener so he tried to get through but he was still to big. He tried that for 3 days and on the 4th day he was just about small enough to get through. Then he heard a sound coming from the forest. He turned around and saw something come out of the bushes. It was, a chicken. He gave a sigh of relief. “It’s just a little chicken.” then it spoke. “I am no normal chicken, my name is… Steve! And I am the grates chicken to ever live.” 

“I bet your taste good roasted.” the little boy said. “What did your say to me? The great Steve. But no matter, why are your trying to get out? This place it every kids dream, it is made of candy.”

“I know and I love it here but I want to see my friends and parents.”

“Who needs friends and family? I have no friends and no mum or day and I am the greatest thing to ever live! So go on, eat some more.” so that’s what he did, he ate, and ate, and ate then he was as big as a tree. He tried to starve himself again and when he nearly small enif to fit through the door. Steve came back again and said, “Why are your starving yourself again? Your should just eat some more. So  that’s what he did. He ate, and ate, and ate, until he was as big as a house. Then he started to starve himself again so he could get back home. Then Steve came and said, “Why are your starving yourself again. Just eat some more. So the boy did and he was stuck in a loop hole. And he lived happily and unhappily ever after.

This week for home learning I have decided to do the activity called "a picture plants 1 thousands words." it is when we have to let this picture

 "inspire out blog post. And to be honest, I don't really have any idea what it means by that but I am guessing it means that we need to talk about the photo.

So I think that the photo is about pollution. Because on the left side is all gray and smoky and doesn't look that nice.

And on the right side it looks all clean and colorful and not gray and all fresh and nice. So I think that the photo is telling a story of what most of the earth used to look like, and what most of it looks like now. So that it what I think the photo means,

What does Darth Vader do on his day of? 🤔

Yesterday for the long write we had to do we wrote about what Darth Vader does on his day of. This time we didn't set it up on Monday we just started to write it is Tuesday. The teacher said that we write about what Darth Vader does on his day of and we were all so confused. then we went to out gorp planning doc and we saw what we had to do. Here is my story that I wrote.


Today is my day of. I am happy, I have been so stressed what with all of the death star business and blowing planets up and rolling the galaxy. I really need this day. OK, lets see, first on the agenda is… the beach, great! I love the beach even though I can't swim their because I will sink. screw you fake arms and legs. No mater. I can still enjoy the beach.

I just got to the beach and there are so many people here. But when they see me they run away. Shore. I am trying to rule the galaxy. But that doesn't mean that I am scary. What what's that? I see a man in a robe running towards me. Oh come on, it’s Luke Skywalker. He is coming at me with his lightsaber. I guess I should fight him. I got my lightsaber out and his one crashed on mine sending an explosion of sparks line a supernova. I just want a nice day. Is that so much to ask for. “Luke, I am not here to fight. I am having a day off.”
“Oh ok, cook because I am having a day of as well, being a Jedi can be stressful sometimes.”
“Tell me about it, being an even master mind it soooo stressful as well. I just need a break sometimes from all of the blowing earth's up and all the genocide.”
“And I need a break from trying so stop your doing all the stuff your just said.”
“So you just want to hang around?”
“Shore.” we stayed at the beach for a bit then we went and got some lunch. I got a bergernova and luke got a galaxy and frise. Then we went to the ship simulator and played galaxy wars. He was the good guy and I was the bad guy. I have to try to blow the planet up and he has to try to stop me. Then we switched it up. I was the good guy and he was the bad guy. We thought we would see what it was like to be on the different side of the force. To be honest, it was kind of fun. “That was fun I said.”
“Yes it was quite fun being the bad guy.”
“And it was fun being the good guy.”
“Well I guess we should probably fight”
“True. or. We could just go back and say we fought.”
“Ok, because we kind of did at the start and in the simulator.”
“Ok, I will go back to trying to rule the galaxy.”
“And I will go back to trying to stop your doing that.” then we walked our different ways. We went back to his ship and I went back to my ship.  I got back to the death start and the general asked how my day was. “It was good.” I replied. And that was my day of.

Media Team Scary video.😨

Last week in the Media Team we had to make a trailer for a movie. We had some choices for it and we chose to make a scary one. Hence the title. We made it on wevideo. When we were making it it was a little bit creepy to be honest. Here it is.
