Maths.

This week in maths we have been doing fractions. We had to make a copy of the slide that was in our planing dock, and do the equations. Here is a slide that we had to do.

I was a little stuck on how to do it, but then I asked the teacher and she helped me. What I did was write the equation. so say we did 1/2 of 16, I wrote that down and then did 2 divided by 16 and then the arnster is 8. I didn't divide the 1 because you don't need to of the top one is 1. So if I did 5/8 of 16 then I would do 8 first and then tims 5 and the 2, and I get 10.

Home Learning.

This week for home learning I have decided to teach a member of my family a way of maths that we have been doing. We had to film it and put it on our blog. it took me and my mum a few times to get it because we keep laughing but we got there in the end. Here it is.

Non Chronological report #2.

Last week we started a new non chronological report. This time it is about a dragon that we had to make. The first thing we had to do was look at an Island of How to train your dragon (that I really like) and then do some research on it. I chose Dragon Island. Here is a photo of it. Then we had to make a dragon, we had to make one of Google drawing or on paper and then turn it into a diagram. Here's A photo of my dragon. (I am really bad at making stuff out of shapes on a computer so please don't judge it.) Then we had to plan it. After that we had to start writing it. When I am writing it I am going to try to use my writing goals. One of them is to use Ispace.. I will show you the finished thing soon.

This week for a media team challenge, we had to try to sell a school jersey. We had to make a video and then blog about it. Here is the video.

Math.

The past two weeks in maths we have been doing number patterns. We had to do some work in our work book, and on a slide. Here is one the the slides we had to do.

Some of the stuff is not easy and some of it is a bit hard. Some of the hard stuff is when you need to finish the pattern. But sometimes that is easy. For the last one of this slide we had to try to figure out what 80 and then either x -+ 40=. We could use whatever symbol we wanted. I choose to use -.

Home learning.

This week for home learning I have decided to to the activity Adults. We need to say what we would do if we had the chance to be an adult for a day, and we need to ask someone in our family, and present what we think in a "creative way." I have choosing to make an photo of me talking to someone. So, here it is.

Wig Wednesday.

This Wednesday we got to wear wigs to school. We had to bring a gold coin, the money went to kids with cancer. the school got $136 and 20 c to donate. Here is a photo of the whole

Non Chronological Report.

Hi guys. This week in remu we have been doing a non chronological report which is a report on something that doesn't need to be in time order about a habitat we can wear that we made for a animal. (mine is for a cat and a fish.) First we had to plan it, which didn't take long. Then we had to write it which took about two days. Then we had to publish it. I chose to use Visme which is a website that you can make newspapers and stuff like that on it. (here is a like to it if you want to check it out.) Here is a photo my my finished thing.

Media Team Challenge.

The Media team have got a chalino. We need to make a little video about whatever we want. We did one about a person (me) going to a party and trying to find something to wair. Here is the video. It took us about 15 minutes to make it. So please don't judge it if it isn't that good.

Writing.

In Rimu we have a new genre in writing. It is a non chronological report. We had to go into Canva (which is a website that you can make posters on and we had to make a poster about the things in a  non chronological order report. here is a photo of mine.

 I only had about 10 minutes to make it. Some of the things I non chronological report is that you need to write it in 3ed person and in past tense. If you have any more of the features you think I missed, then feel free to leave a comment.
