Deserter Island.

For my home work this week I have decided to do the activity that is saying if you where on a deserted Island and you could have 3 things what would you what. I would want lots of food, lots of fresh water, and a boat so I could get back. I asked my mum what she would want and she said that she would want a fresh water, a house and a boat. I think she said she wanted that stuff because we both have common sense and we want to get of the island.

Futsal.

Yesterday in Rimu we all had a go at playing Futsal. A man named Oliver came and taught us how to play. First we play a game that he cooled truck and trailer. What you have to do is get another person, one person has the ball and the other person has to try to get the ball of them. After that we started to play the game.  It is pretty much like soccer but with this you are meant to play it outside, even though we played it outside. We were put onto 4 teams of 5, we had to try to get the ball into the other person's goal. Here is a layout of futsal. 

New House

For home work this week I decided to do the one that says make a new house for the 3 little pigs. Mrs Spragg said that is we what we can build  one of Minecraft and I did that. here is a video of it, hope you like it.

Maths

For the past two weeks in Rimu for maths we have been doing statistics. We have some slides that we need to do. Here is a photo of one of them. 

One of the things we had to do where dot plots. This dot plot is about Robert's data about what time people go to sleep in his class. To do a dot plot you need to order the numbers from the least to the gates. The green dot's  represents the numbers that are up the top.

Digi at manual.

Last week on Tuesday the year 7 and 8's when to manual and the group I was in for it was digi. in my class we made a now version of crossy road on hopscotch. Here is a link to it the website. Link to hopscotch. You can also get the app on appstore. Here is a photo of the cover.

It is really fun because it explains all the coding. It is really easy and fun.

If you were in a fire, what would you save.

For home learning this week I have decided to do the one with the question. If you were in a fire, what  3 things would you save. And then we need to ask a family member the same question. If you were in a fire I would save our cat,

my money and try to save all the stuff I got when I was overseas.

I asked my sister the same question and she said that she would save our cat, her phone and here photos. I think that my sister chose different thing from me apart from the cat, is because she likes here photos better than other things  and she like here phone better than other things.

Black and White.

For my blog post for home learning this week, I decided to do the black and white one. The question is "if you woke up and everything was black and white what colour would you miss.  We also have to ask a family member the same question and see why or why not there is a diffidence.  The colour I would miss is gold and orange. I would miss these color's because they are my favorite. The colour my dad would miss is green because then all the greenery would be boring. I think that thay are diffident because I just said my favorite colour. But dad said the collour that would be better for seing all the greenery. what colour would you chose.

Eye of the wolf

At the start of the term for shared story we were reading Eye of the wolf. It is about a wolf that got taken from his home and brought to a zoo. And there is a boy that doesn't have a family. Here is a photo ot the cover.

I like this book but some of it is confusing, overall I like it though.
