Pop art.

This week in Rimu we did pop art. Pop art is words pop boom splosh.and other words like that. the word for that is onomatopoeia. After, we made one of our own. Here is mine.

Pop art is a art that has layers of bright colours. It also has pointillism in it symptoms. somebody who did it is Roy Lichtenstein.` 

Shape art.

 last week and this week in Rimu we had to get lots of stuff done that is on a slide. One of the attives is shape art. I had to think of some words to describe what shape I was doing. We had to do ether 2 long ones or 3 short ones, I did 3 short ones. I did a dog a dolphin and a night fury which is a dragon on a movie. Here are some photos. 

I had to print out the photos and then trace them and write the words in them.

hooked on books.

In Rimu this week we had a hooked on books week. Here are the books we got.

The book Space and Beyond is a pick a part book about a person you is born on a spaceship.

The book The Honest Truth is a book about a boy who runs away with his dog .

I found some of this hard because some of it we had to draw and I can't draw.  

The Column Method to solve equations

For maths in my group we have been solving equations using the column method. This is one of the equations that we had to solve, it is 19854+ 13147. The first thing I did was write it in columns. After I did that I calculated the answer for  4 + 7 which is 11 but you can't put 11 there so you put the last number which is 1. Then you carry the first number and put it above the five. Then you make the five into a six then you do 6 + 4 which is 10. but again you can't put both numbers there so you put the 0 there and carry the 1 and put it above the 8 and so on. here is a link to the other equations.  click here.

the bounce hover shoe.

The bounce hover shoe.                                                    the past to weeks in Rimu class for writing we have been learning how to write a Non  Chronological  report. I learnt how to write a Non  Chronological  report. I found it difficult not to use you or your because we had to write in third person.this Non  Chronological  report is way better than my first one because I have used headings.

Introduction.
The name of the shoe is hover bounce. It has this name because the shoe has to cool fechas. The shoe was made in 3034 by the great enverner cooled Mikae with the help of his teammates.

Style
The hover bounce is a unek shoe because you can travel in for difrit was in it. You can walk, run, bunce or hover. You can push a button on the shoe and it will let you bounce, there are to aros on it on pointing up and one pointing down. Then are to you can adjust how many meters you can bounce. It goes from 1 to 20. There is another button that you can push and it will make you hover. This is good for if you wolt to walk of a cliff because like with the bounce setting there are more aros and of you push the one that is pointing up you can hover hier. And with the one that is pointing down you can hover loer. There is also a butin you can push that will make it so you can just walk.

Materials.
The bounce hover shoe is made of the leather so it looks normal but by a push of a butin the buyer can amaze his or her friends. The buyer can get it in different colors. There's orange yellow blue,black,gray.pink and purple. This is important because the buyer might want a pear for everyday of the week.


Price
The bounce hover shoe costs $100 this will probably be good for selling because it is a good deal for a shoe that can hover and bounce.

Conclusion.
The bounce hover can be summed up it on word, awesome. 100% of the children said it was the coolest thing that have tried out.

writing.

for writing this week we have been learning about things like ispace and sentence starters. here is a 15 minute write that I did in that lesson.

There I was at the beach on a nice sunny day the wind blowing through my heir. I went down to the water, I was going to walk along the beach in it but when I got in my feet didn't get in the  water at all instead I worked on it. Petrified I got another step hoping that I was just imagining this, but it wozit was real and I know because I could achle still feel the water on the bottom on me feet. I kept taking lots on little steps. When I kind of got over the shok that I could walk on water.
